Christmas Challenge - Week 7 & 8

Week 7 - down 2.6
So i'm at 2.4 down for the challenge now.
I feel like a yo-yo!

Thanksgiving was great...as spending time with my family always is. :-)
The cooking and cleaning kept me quite active for a couple of days. I was able to try a few new recipes and having the leftovers is actually quite convenient this year. I used my own ingredients so I know the nutritional information for everything. The turkey leftovers can be used for so much. Kajuen Kim's Scalloped Corn was excellent. It's what we're having again tonight only i'm throwing some turkey in and calling it a meal. I made extra of a variation of the Pumpkin Mousse so that I would have that in the fridge for this coming week too. The kids and I also made a large fruit bowl filled with all our favorite things...it's been great having that sitting on the counter.

My treadmill is DOA as we wait for a new belt....(pretty cool that I wore that baby out tho, eh?). I've been feeling much better lately and the weather's been pretty nice here in MA this week so i've been able to get out and walk/run some. I feel better already but I still need to put exercise higher on my list of priorities. I also need new work out clothes for this winter so that shall be my reward for a full week of shaking up my routine. I'm going to get some of the old exercise tapes out. I may even rent a couple just to be sure i'm doing something really different. When I work out I drink more water, feel more energized, have better control over my diet and just plain feel good. This is a much needed challenge for me!

The kids go back to school on Monday and i'll have time (hopefully) to make more updates to the site. Something else that helps to boost my motivation....hope it does yours as well!

Of course, there was no weigh-in last night but i'll be there, and back here, next week...
until then remember...
...confidence comes only in having screwed it up before! hehe
