Christmas Challenge - Week 9

Well, ladies and gentleman, my week was 'ok'. Notice I didn't say 'GREAT'?
I don't have a weigh-in to report either seeing as I slept the entire day on Thursday after being up the whole night before working on the website.
I did get in more exercise which was my main objective but unfortunately my journal went out the window a couple of nights this week and i'm still not sure why. I seem to have contracted the hungry horrors, although the times I felt hungry I shouldn't have been! I tried using the 10 minute rule, I tried drinking huge cups of water, I tried getting out or doing something productive like working on the site or decorating for Christmas but I did not win everytime...in fact, I lost more battles in this one week than I have in the entire month previous to this..i'm sure of it. I could dig and dig for an explanation, coming off the pill again may be one reason (before you send email, no, i'm not trying to get pregnant again lol...was just trying to regulate hormones but it's more trouble than it's worth), missing my meeting could be another, the unseasonably warm temperatures could be yet another. My thought is that disrupting my regular exercise routine maybe disrupted my eating routine??? Oh well, it doesn't matter anymore. I can honestly say that I tried, i'm just used to winning more often these days is all. ;-)

The sun rises and sets for a reason...today is a new day. So, here I am again with my rose colored shades firmly planted on my face!!! My journal is out and WILL BE KEPT for the entire day and night! I've already met all of my guidelines and as i'm typing this I am peddaling away on my new stationary bike! Did you know that magazine thingy can be used to hold keyboards as well? Hmmm maybe I can get Mark to weld me a platform to keep both the keys and mouse on? Whatever works, right? However, I do believe i'll be needing one of those gel seats to keep my tushy more comfy.....who ever knew there were bones in this butt??? hehe I need to do just as I did at the beginning and look for ways in my day to add even more movement. Sitting at the computer is something I do often so this bike thing could be good for me! I have an appointment at the salon today to get pertied up and have chosen to walk there and back for added exercise. I'm also prepared to make several new recipes this week to help my efforts along. So, wish me luck!

As for the website, well it certainly is growing, isn't it? I appreciate all of you who have donated to help defray the costs associated with keeping it running. You have my promise that I will continue to share my own life with you as well as add to it as often as I can. The emails I get from all of you and the posts left in the forums help to remind me each and every day that I am not alone....you all help keep me going...I hope all of the work I do here does the same for you!

Until next time ....when I WILL have a weigh-in to report....remember...

'The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure.
These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur.' ~Vince Lombardi
~ Kim

p.s. 10 miles on the bike while writing this! :-)
