Another 2 pounds gone this week!!! This proves my point about change being a good thing! I'm so excited about the new program too! I think it's going to help alot of people get better losses and learn how to make the program work just for them. This boost at the scale the past couple of weeks has certainly done wonders for my motivation! I can almost taste that '165' star i've waited about a year now for! It will be a big deal when I add that to my ribbon! It's proof of a long battle faught and won and I will certainly reward myself kindly for that success! It's proven to me that I can overcome any hurdle and that I can do this for the rest of my life. It's a stage of weight loss that I think is very important for all of us to reach and I feel such a sense of pride and accomplishement in having overcome all that I have over this past year. I hope that my sharing will help prove the same to all of you.....never stop believing you can!

I am just so proud of my mother! What an example of success! This past week she celebrated the 10 year anniversary of reaching her goal weight. She still attends meetings weekly and is always looking for new ways to keep herself on track. Not too long ago she took up yoga and is excited to see even more inches coming off. You never stop learning. I admire her strength and I am so grateful for her example! Way to go mom!

With Christmas approaching fast and life being so hectic it's easy to 'fall off the wagon'....either by overeating and assuming we'll get back on program after the holidays...or not eating enough for fear of overeating! lol Ugh!!! I am keeping in mind that the best gift I can give to anyone is 'me'....being in control of myself and staying fit are what make me feel so wonderful and, in turn, is what allows me to give as much of myself as I can to others. There's nothing else in the world that can substitute for that feeling. I'm making sure to keep trying new things and i'm spreading my points out more through the day so that my metabolism and energy are working at their peak! I'm also getting in extra water these days....i think it's making a difference.

Only one more weigh-in before Christmas! My christmas goal was to lose 12 pounds by next week...and i'm down 8.8 so far. 3.2 is alot to ask for in one week (ecspecially with Flo due for her visit....grrrrrr...lol) but i'm so proud of me for getting this close! We'll see.....:-)

We all had our picture taken with Santa yesterday :-) I'll be adding it to the Christmas page which should be up soon, so be sure to have a look!!

I'll be back next week to let you know how things went!

Be good to you!

Kim
