Hi there, hope you all had a great week!

This was my 'hungry' week ...with that in mind i knew i needed to keep my house full of high volume...low point foods that I love... and pay even closer attention to my daily success. It's also been an emotional week...with father's day... and this being the sixth anniversary of our son's death. We're doing well, we have many happy memories. :-)

One of the things that I really love to do now is exercise (who woulda known?). I starting using free weights a couple of months ago along with my cardio workout and I see a big difference. So, I tried alot of new things this week and my workouts were longer and harder...I thought that would help with emotions I was dealing with as well...and it did! In the past starting something new or working out harder has usually meant a temporary gain for me so I am quite pleased with .8 down this week!

Usually, when I'm on my treadmill these days, I alternate walking and jogging whenever I feel the urge. During one of my workouts this week, after 2 miles, I started jogging and didn't stop for a mile. It was a unplanned success and I can't begin to tell you how good it felt! It was also 'just a tad' (very) emotional since my dad was an avid jogger and I'd love to organize a memorial run in his honor for next year...as well as take part in it!

I kept my journal and ate mid to high range on most days....so I met my goal of making sure I got enough food in! Yay me!

My goal for this week is to bank some extra points for rock concert I have coming up next Friday and to see what other unplanned successes I can come up with..:-) ........how about you???

Thank you all again for all of your support, it means more to me than you could ever know.

Kim
