Journal

August 1, 2000

It's been almost four weeks since my last update! I really thought I would get more time....we can blame Davey :)~ We had a wonderful time and I will miss him alot! I'll share some pictures of his visit soon.

I did manage to get weighed twice while he was here. The first week, I was happy to have maintained after watching the scale rise for a bit there when I started my prescription. The next I lost another .4 which was great!! I didn't get on my treadmill (ooooooooops) but we kept pretty busy (ahhhhhh...a man who likes to shop!!). Davey's also NOT a big fan of veggies and I let that be my excuse for not getting in as many as I should have! I did stay within points, on most days (he's a BIG fan of chocolate!), but certainly didn't eat enough 'good foods'. I made an effort and saw the better choices I was making and i'm proud of that....I just know I could have done better. We'll see what the scale has to say on Thursday.

Anyway, here's what's happening....

I'm on track, journal's out...veggies are in....and tomorrow...YES TOMORROW...I will get my tushy on that treadmill and sweat! lol Really...I can't wait :)

The pill went out the window, for now. I may try another next month....but I had some side effects with this one that just weren't worth it.

We had our kids birthday party...it was a success. Too many gifts and I played too much in the moonwalk (talk about exercise!).

I have been accepted into the "Phenomenal Women Of The Web"... which I thought was kind of cool.

My leg is still acting sort of funky so i'll be visiting the good 'ole doc again soon.

Andrea, my leader, just celebrated her 19th anniversary of becoming a lifetime member of Weight Watcher's..... after losing 60 pounds. What an inspiration she is!

There's lots of updates to make to the site and I will get to them as soon as possible!

My goal this week..... to find someone new to blame when i'm not so perfect :)~

Attitude is everything!
Get one!

Kim
