Excess Skin
|
I must admit, this isn't a topic I gave alot of thought to until I started the website. I've come to realize that excess skin is a serious concern for many people who want to lose alot of weight. So, i'm going to adress it as best I can through my own experiences as I continue to lose... as well as continue to find informative links to share with you.
Because this is something that may be of more concern to me in the near future, I have discussed this with my doctor several times. I have also questioned skin specialists, personal trainers and others who have lost a large amount of weight. I'm told over and over that this has to do alot with your own skin's elasticity. At what rate and how you lost your excess weight....exercise, age, water and several other factors apply but I really don't know enough to elaborate so I suggest you talk to your own doctor and check the links below for more information....
